Production Controller
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Location: Horsham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Controller to join a busy Production Control & Planning team in Horsham. Reporting to the PCP Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating and controlling production jobs, ensuring material and demand requirements align with customer delivery expectations.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across production, supply chain, engineering, and stores to support a smooth transition from order entry through to production completion. This is a key role in maintaining efficient job flow, supporting accurate planning, and helping drive continuous improvement across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out accurate job management processes within the ERP system.
Organise kitting for assemblies, ensuring kits are ready and suitable for manufacture.
Conduct material availability analysis in conjunction with Supply Chain.
Fulfil sales orders and coordinate post-production activity alongside ITC and Stores.
Liaise with Production and Manufacturing Engineering regarding manufacturing procedures and any issues arising.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and processes.Skills and Experience
Essential
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Background in a dynamic manufacturing environment
