We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Buckinghamshire
In this temporary role, you will be on the front lines of delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals needing support in residential and nursing care settings. Key Responsibilities
*
Patient Care & Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutritional needs, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times.
*
Monitoring & Wellbeing: Maintain a watchful eye on residents' general physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any significant changes or concerns immediately to the supervising nurse or home manager.
*
Safe Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, adhering strictly to infection control, health and safety, COSHH, and safeguarding guidelines.
*
Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, active listening, and emotional reassurance to residents, encouraging social engagement and independence where possible.
*
Accurate Record-Keeping: Document all care and food/fluid charts accurately and promptly in compliance with the care home's standard operating procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
*
Experience: Prior experience working in a healthcare, care home, or clinical support setting is highly desirable.
*
Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and proof of right to work in the UK.
*
Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*
Adaptability: Comfortable working temporary shifts, which may include weekdays, weekends, or night rotation depending on service requirements
