Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Blackpool to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

Your new role
As the Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire pupils and promote a love of learning. You will assess and monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
The school is seeking a teacher who can maintain high expectations for behaviour, foster positive relationships, and create a nurturing classroom culture where every child feels valued and supported.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to raising pupil attainment and promoting positive outcomes
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
