Salary: Up to £30k
Location: Northamptonshire
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Orion is partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Northamptonshire which is recruiting for an experienced Assembler to join their growing production team. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and previous experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Assembler Duties:
Assemble, wire, test and inspect precision instruments and components
Carry out sub-assembly activities
Perform duties including sensor fitting, pressure testing, helium leak testing, bead blasting and final inspection
Maintain assembly tools, equipment and workstations in line with housekeeping and Health & Safety standards
Accurately complete all relevant production paperwork and documentation
Assembler Experience:
Previous assembly experience within a manufacturing or high-technology/electronic production environment
Must have soldering experience
Experience working within a small-batch or precision equipment manufacturing environment
Flexible, reliable and committed to meeting production targets
