Our client is an established commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. They provide a complete design and build service, specialising in workplace fit-outs, refurbishments and interior construction projects for a diverse range of commercial clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their delivery team and support the successful delivery of a variety of exciting projects.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Project Managers and senior leadership, you'll support the delivery of commercial fit-out, refurbishment and design & build projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day management of multiple commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Support the planning, programming and coordination of projects from pre-start through to completion.
Attend client, design, subcontractor and site meetings, ensuring actions are followed through.
Work closely with design, commercial, procurement and site teams to keep projects on programme.
Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and helping implement solutions.
Assist in managing subcontractors, suppliers and specialist trades.
Support procurement, material scheduling and project logistics.
Help manage project documentation including RFIs, technical submissions and drawing registers.
Carry out regular site visits to monitor quality, progress and Health & Safety compliance.
Support cost control, change management and project reporting alongside the commercial team.
Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and keen to build a long-term career within commercial fit-out and refurbishment.
Ideally you'll have:
Experience within commercial fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Site Manager, Design Coordinator or similar.
A good understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
A full UK Driving Licence
