Job Details:AMB Recruitment Group are seeking a Principal Contract Supervisor for a well-established Civils company company. Please see below the details of the role.
Job Overview:
Start Date: asap
Duration: 3 months, with extension
Rate of Pay: £(Apply online only) per day DOE
Hours: Mon-Fri, Nights – typically 19:00/20:00 start, finishing around 05:00–06:00
Qualifications/Cards Needed: PC Supervisor experience, SMSTS/SSSTS, Gold CSCS card, 3 day first aid
Experience Needed: supervising contractors on National Highways / SDF contracts is highly desirable.
Payment Options: CIS Key Responsibilities
Supervise contractors on night shifts across the Bromford Viaduct works.
Induct all personnel arriving on site and ensure correct access procedures.
Deliver pre-start briefings and ensure all teams understand nightly work plans.
Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with National Highways standards.
Check and maintain ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and ensure paperwork is accurate and up to date.
Oversee safe working practices and intervene where required.
Ensure the road is ready for reopening at the required time each morning.
Work independently – no site manager present at night; responsibility sits with the two supervisors.Apply!
