The Role
As the Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Working closely with Sales, Technical and Operations teams, you'll ensure customers receive exceptional service.
Key Duties
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Preparing quotations and sales documentation.
Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries.
Attending to customer emails professionally and promptly.
Providing administrative assistance to the Sales and Technical teams.
Maintaining accurate customer records and filing systems.
Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
Assisting with scheduling, documentation and general office administration.
Liaising with the wider team on day-to-day operational tasks.
Maintaining a professional, organised and welcoming office environment.
About You
You'll be:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Friendly, professional and comfortable communicating with customers.
Able to prioritise your workload and manage multiple tasks.
Proactive, reliable and able to work on your own initiative.
A supportive team player with a positive attitude.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable
Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
Experience using Sage or similar order processing software.
