Our client, a reputable main dealer group based in Preston, Lancashire, is currently recruiting for an MOT Technician to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a role that offers competitive earnings, career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits:

Basic salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience
OTE of up to £45,000 annually
Monday to Friday working hours, with Saturdays on a rota

Service and repair vehicles, including diagnostics
Conduct MOT tests alongside standard servicing
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance
Effectively communicate work progress to supervisors
Keep accurate records of vehicle repairs and services done as an MOT Technician
Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs as required
Adhere to manufacturer procedures and standards
Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and professionalism Requirements of an MOT Technician:

Proven experience as a vehicle technician or MOT tester
NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
Enthusiastic attitude and drive to build a career within the motor trade
Knowledge of manufacturer procedures is desirable
