A leading dealership group in Cardiff, South Wales, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within the largest car dealer group in South Wales.
Benefits:
Starting salary approximately £28,300 per annum, dependent on experience and brand accreditations
Uncapped monthly bonus potential, resulting in an OTE of £33,000 - £34,000 per annum
Overtime paid at time and a half
23 days annual holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off
Full manufacturer-accredited training and development schemes
Access to various additional company benefits, to be discussed upon application
Long-term career progression within a well-established organisation operating since 1945Duties of a Service Advisor:
Welcome customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for repairs
Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor repairs and progress updates
Advise customers on minor technical issues and up-sell additional products and services
Provide excellent customer service via strong communication skills
Take payments for completed work and ensure customer satisfaction
Keep customers informed of vehicle repair progress
Assist in achieving dealership targets and objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturer contacts
Support warranty procedures and liaise with the manufacturer as requiredRequirements of a Service Advisor:
Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar within the motor industry
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency (experience with Kerridge/Drive/RTC systems advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures advantageous but not essential
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
