Senior Parts Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff, for the position of Senior Parts Advisor. This role is ideal for individuals with recent experience in the automotive industry who are seeking a new opportunity to advance their career within a reputable dealership group.

Salary up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
On-target earnings of £35,000 per annum based on customer satisfaction scores

Accurately identify, pick, and supply vehicle parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs
Provide exceptional customer service to trade and retail clients regarding parts inquiries
Maintain stock control and carry out regular audits as a Senior Parts Advisor
Work collaboratively with the parts team, reporting to the Parts Manager
Floating between front and back counter duties as required
Utilise electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Kerridge/CDK)
Ensure efficient parts supply chain and stock managementRequirements of a Senior Parts Advisor:

Recent or current experience within the automotive industry, ideally in parts or aftersales departments
Familiarity with vehicle types and automotive parts processes
Strong IT skills, including experience with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management software
Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and engaging manner
Ideally hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
