Manchester - university area

£30,000 per annum

Shift pattern: 8-4.30 / 9.30 - 6 - Monday - Friday

Applicants must be able to do both shifts

Our client, a leading organisation in patient care, is on the lookout for a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join their dynamic team in Manchester. What You'll Do:
As a vital part of the Administration Team, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing support and guidance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Call Handling & Patient Support:- Answer incoming calls professionally and empathetically.
- Respond to patient inquiries with clear and accurate information.
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage high call volumes while remaining calm and efficient.

Appointment Management:- Book, amend, and cancel patient appointments following procedures.
- Prioritise urgent cases appropriately and provide detailed information about services and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of call details and outcomes.

Confidentiality & Compliance:- Uphold strict patient confidentiality in line with GDPR.
- Follow policies related to data protection and information governance.

Who You Are:
We are looking for someone who embodies professionalism and compassion. The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in call handling or a customer service role, preferably within healthcare.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
The ability to stay calm under pressure while multi-tasking.
Strong ICT skills and experience with data inputting.
Empathy and professionalism in all interactions.What We Offer:
