Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:15pm, Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake / Laser Setter Operator to join their skilled production team.
About The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Setter Operator looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing engineering business.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience setting and operating both Press Brake and Laser machinery. However, candidates with experience in only one area will also be considered, provided they are willing and able to train in the other discipline.
You will be responsible for setting machinery, producing quality components from engineering drawings and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Setting and operating Press Brake and/or Laser cutting machinery
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Selecting correct tooling, materials and machine settings
Carrying out first-off checks and quality inspections
Measuring components using relevant inspection equipment
Making adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality requirements are met
Working with sheet metal components within a fabrication environment
Identifying and resolving basic machine or production issues
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working areaAbout You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience setting and operating Press Brake and/or Laser machinery
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience within a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
A willingness to learn and develop skills across both Press Brake and Laser operations
A reliable and positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCandidates who are experienced in either Press Brake or Laser setting and are keen to expand their skillset will be considered.
