Job Title: CNC Setter Operator- Milling
Industry: Aerospace
Location: Derby
Employment: Permanent
Salary: £47,200 per annum (inclusive of 40% shift)
Shift: Weekend (Days)
Pattern: Friday - Sunday / 6am - 6pm
The Role - CNC Setter Operator
Join our leading aerospace engineering client's team in Derby and contribute to cutting-edge precision machined component development.
As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Due to Security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.
Duties - CNC Setter Operator
Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
Competently set and operate CNC machines
Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
To work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
Quality check all finished jobs
Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.
Background - CNC Setter Operator
Engineering apprenticeship OR significant experience
Able to Set and Operate Milling machines.
Experience of milling machines - 3 or 5 Axis
Able to interpret engineering drawings
Able to self-inspect work using various inspection techniques
Benefits - CNC Setter Operator
25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays. (33 total)
