Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They require self-employed heating engineers for a long-term social housing contract.
Contract Details:
Location: Wiltshire - SP5, SP2, SP3 and BA12
Contract: Social Housing
Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs
Commitment: Minimum of 3 set days per week
Contract Length: Long term ongoing
Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.
Rates:
* £300 a day pay rate
OOH:
* Standby (Weekdays): £50 pay rate
* Standby (Weekends): £75 pay rate
* Completed Job: £35 pay rate
* Incomplete Job: £25 pay rate
Travel Incentive
£50 a day - Only applies to engineers who have to travel into patch (60mins+)
Key Benefits:
* Work within a small radius
* Weekly pay – no chasing invoices
* Monday to Friday (part-time min. 3 days per week commitment can be accommodated)
* All appointments pre-booked via the client's PDA system.
* Full PPE and kit provided.
* Long-term ongoing contract
Requirements:
* 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
* ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
* Panel Van (plain or sign written)
* Gas Safe Registration
* Clean DBS Check
* No more than 6 points on Driving Licence
* Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
* £2m Public Liability Insurance
* No unspent criminal convictions
