Job Title: ServiceNow Service Mapping Specialist
Location: Coventry, UK (Hybrid)
Salary/Rate: £400 - £450 (Inside IR35)

Job Type: 6 month contract

We are currently looking for an experienced ServiceNow Service Mapping Specialists to join a major enterprise programme at CBS.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale ServiceNow ITOM environment, supporting the delivery of accurate end-to-end Service Maps across a complex application landscape. You'll work closely with Application Owners, Solution Architects and Infrastructure teams to analyse application dependencies, configure Service Mapping patterns, and ensure the CMDB accurately reflects business and technical services in line with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Analyse application architectures, infrastructure dependencies, credentials and access requirements.
• Design, build and maintain end-to-end Service Maps for in-scope application services.
• Configure and customise Service Mapping patterns where required.
• Define and validate relationships between Business Services, Business Applications, Application Services, Technical Services and Infrastructure Configuration Items (CIs).
• Work closely with Application Owners and technical teams to validate service dependencies and ensure mapping accuracy.
• Support the testing, troubleshooting and remediation of Service Mapping issues.
• Ensure Service Maps meet agreed acceptance criteria and provide accurate visibility through ServiceNow Dependency Maps and Unified Maps.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM and Service Mapping.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB and CSDM.
• Strong understanding of application dependency mapping and service modelling.
• Experience creating, configuring and customising Service Mapping patterns.
• Ability to interpret complex application and infrastructure architectures and translate them into accurate ServiceNow Service Maps.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience working alongside Application Owners, Architects and Infrastructure teams.
