Maintain and develop the electrical infrastructure that allows an innovative global business to drive progression in the Electronics industry.
Working as part of the Facilities and Maintenance team based in Weymouth, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for ensuring an advanced manufacturing site remains safe, compliant and operational. This role will also provide opportunities to undertake continous improvement projects that enhance reliability, sustainability and efficiency.

Day to day, the Electrical Technician will:
* Lead electrical safety and statutory compliance across the site
* Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for electrical infrastructure and associated building services
* Coordinate statutory inspections, testing, certification and remedial works
* Support the maintenance and development of site utilities
* Deliver facilities improvement and capital investment projects
* Work closely with specialist contractors, reviewing RAMS, issuing permits to work and monitoring contractor performance
* Maintain technical records, asset registers, drawings and maintenance documentation
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime
The Electrical Technician will need:
* HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of PPM systems.
* Experience managing electrical compliance activities.
* Good understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and CDM Regulations.
* Experience managing contractors and safe systems of work
