Lift Repair Engineer - UK Wide Travel

Salary: Competitive Salary + Overtime + Expenses + Company Vehicle
Location: UK Wide Travel Required
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Repair Engineer to join a leading organisation within the lift industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working on a variety of repair projects and is comfortable travelling throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and supporting major repair projects across a wide range of passenger and goods lifts.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake lift repair works on a variety of lift types and manufacturers.
Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
Repair or replace lift components, including doors, ropes, motors, controllers, and safety equipment.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Work closely with customers, site teams, and management to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Accurately complete job reports and associated documentation.
Support breakdown and emergency repair activities as required.
Travel extensively across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.Requirements

Proven experience as a Lift Repair Engineer, Lift Service Engineer, or Lift Installation Engineer with repair experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
Good knowledge of current lift industry regulations and health & safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexible approach to travel and working away when required.Desirable Experience

Experience working on lifts from manufacturers such as Otis, KONE, Schindler, TK Elevator, Stannah, or similar.
Knowledge of lift modernisation and refurbishment projects.
LEIA qualification or industry-recognised certifications.What's on Offer
