The Company
A Tech specialist who are at the forefront of providing Digital solutions to the Railway & Transportation industry are looking to hire a Software Manager.

Due to ongoing growth following a successful SaaS platform that has been rolled out widely across the industry, they are looking to expand their software team.

The Opportunity & Role

The Software Manager will provide technical leadership, guide architectural and development decisions, manage and mentor the wider team, and translate technical information into clear recommendations for the business.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a well-established software platform that is already delivering tangible value across the UK rail network while helping define the next stage of its evolution.

The successful candidate will inherit a capable development team and be given the autonomy to improve processes, establish technical standards, influence architectural decisions and build a longer-term software roadmap.

You will work directly with senior leadership, playing a key role in shaping both product strategy and technology direction. For someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical credibility with leadership responsibility, this offers the chance to move beyond day-to-day delivery and have a genuine impact on a growing technology business. The position would suit an individual who can provide strategic insight, technical expertise and leadership required to scale a product that is helping modernise the rail industry.

Salary & Package

Up to £85,000 p/annum

Working Model & Location

Remote working
Travel to site 1-2 times per month for core meetings
North Lincolnshire based office
Essential Criteria

Technical background ideally within C#.NET, Azure & Kubernetes
Strong managerial experience – handling holidays, 1-2-1’s, performance issues, development etc.
Good decision maker & able to handle numerous opinions & idea
Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
Strong planning capability
