As a Complex Needs Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of every learner.

* Teach pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and associated communication needs.

* Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.

* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team.

* Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.

* Promote positive behaviour through nurturing, consistent and proactive approaches.

* Contribute to EHCP targets, annual reviews and wider school life.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

* Previous experience teaching within a SEND or specialist education setting.

* Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, Autism (ASC), SLD, PMLD or similar.

* A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

* The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.

* A positive, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
