Goods In Operative

Major Recruitment are recruiting Goods In Operatives to join our clients Warehouse Team in Hyde.
This role is initially temporary ongoing with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attendance and timekeeping.
Previous Goods In / Warehouse experience is essential to be considered for the role.*
Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Overtime required approximately *2 Saturdays per month* (7:00am–1:00pm or 8:00am–2:00pm), paid at *time and a half*.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Unloading and checking deliveries.
* Replenishing stock and warehouse pick locations.
* Manual handling and lifting of goods (up to 20kg).
* Using warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, tape guns, and safety knives.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Supporting the team to ensure stock is processed accurately and efficiently.

* Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Able to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
* Comfortable working in a physically demanding role involving regular lifting and walking.
* Flexible to work overtime when required.
