GCSE tutor

This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a student's education. Many of the young people we support are unable to attend mainstream school, so your teaching and encouragement will play a vital role in helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their GCSE goals.

We are particularly interested in tutors who can teach GCSE English and Maths, although tutors with experience in Science or other core subjects are also encouraged to apply. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, allowing you to make a meaningful impact through personalised learning.

The role:

Deliver engaging 1:1 GCSE tuition in students' homes or community settings
Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities
Support students in building confidence and preparing for their GCSE examinations
Work flexibly around each student's timetableWhat we're looking for:

Experience teaching GCSE English, Maths and/or Science
A patient, engaging and adaptable teaching style
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Pay: £25-£30 per hour
