Our client is a well-established main dealership in Coventry and is looking for an experienced PDI Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a competitive basic salary, bonus scheme, manufacturer brand training and accreditation, and genuine career progression within a successful main dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
Complete vehicle preparation, servicing, and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handover.
Fit accessories and carry out vehicle enhancements as required.
Identify and rectify any mechanical or electrical faults found during the PDI process.
Complete all work efficiently and in line with manufacturer repair methods and company procedures.
Accurately complete PDI documentation, vehicle health checks, and service records.
Ensure all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation before delivery.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Work closely with the Workshop Controller and Service team to ensure vehicles are prepared on time.Minimum Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Service Technician within a dealership or similar workshop environment.
Good mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
