Location: Bow
Salary: £30,000 basic + bonus potential up to £36,000 OTE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality inspection of a wide range of dental and hairdressing equipment. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will ensure products are built to the highest standards before being dispatched to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment from start to finish.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Carry out testing, inspections, and adjustments to ensure product functionality and quality standards are met.
Complete production, quality control, and testing documentation accurately.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Identify and report faults, defects, or discrepancies to management.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Participate in ongoing technical training and development.About You

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
Apprenticeship or vocational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Competent using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out hands-on workshop duties.Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with structured testing and inspection procedures.
Full UK driving licence.Personal Attributes

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Positive and proactive approach to work.
