Job Title: Telehandler Driver (Holiday Cover)
Location: Lichfield
Start Date: Monday 10th August 2026
Contract Duration: 1 Week
About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Driver for a one-week holiday cover assignment on a fast-paced new build housing development in Lichfield.
You will be playing a crucial role in keeping the site moving safely and efficiently-handling material deliveries, unloading wagons, supplying various trades with materials, and maintaining an organized compound.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a telescopic handler safely and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced housing site environment.
Unloading deliveries from suppliers and offloading materials safely across the development.
Supplying bricklayers, carpenters, and other site trades with materials as required.
Assisting the Site Manager with general site logistics and maintaining compound safety.
Key Requirements
Qualifications: Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS Card (with CSCS logo) (Essential).
Experience: Proven track record operating telehandlers on busy, fast-paced new build residential/housing sites.
Safety: Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots) and a sharp awareness of site safety.
Locality: Must be able to commute reliably to Lichfield for a 7:30 AM start.
