We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Simulation & Modelling Engineer to join a specialist team responsible for developing and maintaining advanced performance models that help shape, evaluate, and prove the effectiveness of complex systems!

Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance and be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Working: The role requires engineers on site for 4-5 days per week and is a on secure site where SC clearance is needed.

Performance modelling and analysis studies
Mathematical modelling of high-performance dynamic systems, including subsystem components and operating environments
Model verification, validation, and assurance activitiesOur models support the full engineering lifecycle, from early feasibility assessments and concept exploration through to design development, trade-off analysis, ground and hardware testing, trials programmes, and post-trial performance evaluation.

As a Simulation & Modelling Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing performance models that support some of the companies most important programmes. This includes contributing to model design, implementation, testing, reviews, and technical documentation, while maintaining robust design records and ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards.

You will also be responsible for integrating and verifying model components supplied by external partners, conducting technical investigations, and resolving complex engineering challenges. Working both independently and as part of multidisciplinary project teams, you will engage closely with model users to understand their requirements and ensure that modelling solutions are accurate, effective, and fit for purpose.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

Experience with simulation and modelling environments such as MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as FORTRAN, C, or C++.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and develop effective solutions.
The ability to visualise, understand, and analyse complex systems and their interactions.
A practical understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Desirable Experience:
