An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Italian-speaking HR professional to join a growing global business on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Based in London, you'll play a key role in supporting HR operations across Europe, delivering expert payroll, recruitment, compliance, and employee support in a dynamic and people-focused environment.

Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance for employees across Italy and assigned regions.
Provide end-to-end HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle.
Support recruitment activities in partnership with local stakeholders and Talent Acquisition teams.
Coordinate onboarding and employee administration processes for new hires.
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical advice and guidance to managers and employees.
Manage day-to-day low-level ER cases, escalating complex cases where appropriate.
Support compliance with local employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Partner with regional managers to deliver effective HR solutions and support business objectives.
Assist with labour relations, absence management, and other HR operational activities.
Identify and resolve HR process gaps, driving continuous improvement across the function.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries within a matrix organisation.
Profile
The Successful Applicant Will:
Be fluent in both Italian and English (essential), with the confidence to support employees and stakeholders across Italy and the wider business.
Have previous experience in an HR Coordinator or, HR Generalist role with exposure to payroll and HR operations.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
Be comfortable managing payroll processes and ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance.
Have experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site, or international environment.
Be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of their workload.
Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
Be proactive, solutions-focused, and confident in handling day-to-day HR queries and challenges.
Have strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Be comfortable learning new systems quickly and adapting to changing business needs.
Previous experience in a regulated environment would be advantageous.Job Offer
