The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils across the primary age range, providing classroom support and helping children achieve their full academic and personal potential.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
Assist children with varying learning needs to access the curriculum successfully.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation.
Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
Monitor progress and share feedback with teaching staff.
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
Is patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Works well as part of a team and can use their own initiative.
Has GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Has a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
