Location: Royston / Meldreth, Hertfordshire
Salary: £22,996-£25,068 per annum (actual salary, depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care?

This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. You'll work within a specialist school alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
Encourage communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Provide personal care where required.
We're Looking For

We're looking for graduates who are:

Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
Considering a career in psychology, therapy, education or mental health.
Patient, resilient and eager to learn.
Strong communicators who work well as part of a team.

Essential: GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
