Our client, a well-established business based in Downham Market, is seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a busy office environment and enjoys providing vital support to project teams. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly by coordinating administrative activities and maintaining excellent communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Raising purchase orders and ordering materials
Producing invoices and applications
Providing administrative support to project engineers
Preparing engineer paperwork, including job instructions and reports
Collating supplier documentation and test certificates
Liaising with customers to schedule works and provide project updates
Maintaining and updating project files and databases
Arranging accommodation bookings for field-based staff
Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers The ideal candidate will have:
Previous administration experience within a fast-paced office environment
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Good customer service experience
Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
