Teacher Active are working with a variety of specialist schools and colleges across the United Kingdom, I am currently recruiting for clients that are based within the North London and surrounding area's that need experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities teachers and classroom assistants. These schools have students with challenging behaviour and/or special education needs so it is imperative that we find the perfect fit for our students.
We are looking for motivated, experienced Teaching assistants to help make a huge impact on children and young adults in primary and secondary schools (KS1 / KS2 / KS3 / KS4 / KS5), our schools help to aid children and young adults with support and guidance specialising in SEND.
This is a remarkable opportunity to expand your SEND experience. We have experienced Professionals and dedicated Consultants with placements that suit your availability, preference, and skill set. We have day to day, short term, and long-term work available with immediate starts.
Responsibilities: Teach and support pupils in and out of the classroom, personal development and behaviour management of pupils in a SEND setting, responsibly take control of the classroom and engage pupils.
Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour, team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work, Punctuality organisation, experience within an SEND school or setting.
