RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a growing, privately-owned business in North Leicestershire, celebrating nearly 35 years of operational excellence.
This position is perfectly suited for individuals living in Leicester, Loughborough, or across North Leicestershire.
The successful candidate will manage daily finance operations, including handling supplier invoices, preparing weekly sales invoicing, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Your duties will also involve handling bank and supplier statement reconciliations, maintaining cashflow updates, and executing BACS runs on Sage. Additionally, you will play a key role in month-end reporting, creating the board pack, delivering monthly management accounts for shareholders, and ensuring all statutory submissions are completed on time. While some payroll knowledge is beneficial, the client is happy to provide full training to the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, tech-savvy, and eager to drive change. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to senior leadership are essential. Experience with Sage Line 50 or 200 is desirable. As an effective communicator, you should possess the confidence to advise leadership and act as a true partner to the Managing Director.
