Technical Project Manager

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Based from the Daresbury office with occasional site visits, you will manage multiple projects while coordinating customers, contractors and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of technical engineering projects.
Coordinate internal engineering teams, contractors and suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and framework partners.
Manage project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within agreed financial targets.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Report project progress to key stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager.
Experience delivering projects within manufacturing, process or industrial sectors.
Technical background within control systems engineering (PLC, HMI and SCADA).
Strong stakeholder, contractor and financial management experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines and budgets.
Experience working with NEC contracts would be advantageous.
