We're recruiting on behalf of a growing fire safety specialist looking for a Fire Door Surveyor to join their team covering sites across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being out on site, has a good eye for detail, and is looking to develop a career in the fire safety industry.
What you'll be doing
You'll work alongside experienced surveyors carrying out fire door inspections within healthcare environments. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Assisting with fire door surveys across multiple sites.
Measuring and photographing doors during inspections.
Recording findings accurately using a tablet.
Supporting surveyors and carpenters with inspection and remedial work.
Keeping work areas safe and organised.
Representing the business professionally while working.
What we're looking for
Full UK driving licence.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
Good attention to detail.
Comfortable using handheld devices or tablets.
Able to work well independently and within a team.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
It would be an advantage if you have
Experience in construction, maintenance or surveying.
Knowledge of fire doors or passive fire protection.
Experience working in hospitals or other live commercial environments.
CSCS Card.
Enhanced DBS (or happy to obtain one).
