Position: Welding Technician
Location: Bedford
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 15:00-01:00 (Evening shift)
Welding Technician required to join a well-established Engineering company that is based in the Bedford area.
This role is a high-end production welding role, requiring some repetitive work whilst maintaining the high quality required by our industry. The Welding Technician role will be responsible for completing fabricate assemblies to a high standard ready for painting.

High-end production welding using a variety of TIG & MIG welding equipment
Following drawings to produce weld assemblies to a high standard
Preparing products for painting, ensuring metal components are clean and scratch free
Responsibility for maintaining stock of welding supplies
Maintain a clean and safe working environmentWelding Technician Job Requirements
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG etc.) in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Be able to identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Proficient in the use of hand tools, including angle grinders, squares, calipers etc.Welding Technician Salary & Benefits
Salary - £36,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
15:00 - 01:00 Evening Shift (Monday - Thursday)
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Pension scheme - paying 8% following a 3-month probation completion
