Aspire People is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming 1.5 form entry Primary School in Wythenshawe, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the school's Year 6 cohort, leading learning, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils prepare for SATs within a collaborative and supportive teaching team.
The Role
Working closely with the Year 6 team, you will:
*Lead PPA cover across the year group.
*Plan and deliver high-quality intervention groups and SATs booster sessions.
*Support pupils to close learning gaps and maximise progress.
*Deliver engaging learning to whole classes, small groups and individual pupils.
*Work alongside experienced teachers to monitor progress and adapt learning to meet pupils' needs.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive teaching team, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your confidence in planning, behaviour management, assessment and intervention delivery while gaining invaluable experience within a Year 6 setting.
The School
This friendly and inclusive 1.5 form entry primary school has a strong community ethos and a supportive leadership team who are committed to developing their staff as well as their pupils. You'll become part of a collaborative environment where professional development is encouraged and every member of the team is valued.
