Full-Time
Our client is a well-established and highly respected supplier of prestige parts based in Hoddesdon, renowned for delivering exceptional quality products and outstanding customer service. They are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join their friendly, close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Unlike many warehouse roles, you will be handling high-value, precision-engineered components rather than large or heavy goods, making this an ideal position for someone who takes pride in delivering quality work. The working hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm (4 days per week) and 8:0am – 6:00pm (1 day per week) with 1 hour lunch, Monday – Friday and our client offers a salary of £27,097.72 - £30,000 depending on experience.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, carefully packed and dispatched on time. You'll be responsible for handling a wide range of small, premium products, ensuring they are protected during transit and reach customers in perfect condition.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will also be trusted to work independently, taking ownership of your workload while maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately pick customer orders using picking lists and warehouse systems.

* Carefully pack small, high-value automotive parts to ensure they arrive safely and undamaged.

* Carry out quality checks to ensure the correct products and quantities are dispatched.

* Prepare orders for courier collections and daily dispatch.

* Put stock away into designated warehouse locations.

* Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular stock counts.

* Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times.

* Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items promptly.

* Work efficiently to meet daily order deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a warehouse, stores or picker/packer environment and will understand the importance of accuracy when handling customer orders.

You will also possess:

* Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer or Stores role.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Experience handling small or delicate products would be advantageous.

* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Good organisational and time management skills

* Good communication skills.

* A willingness to learn and support colleagues where required.

* Basic computer skills for stock management would be beneficial.

If you're a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative looking for your next opportunity with a company that values quality, teamwork and customer satisfaction, we would love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful business where your contribution will make a real difference every day.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not hear from us, please assume your application has not been successful on this occasion. We appreciate your interest and wish you the best of luck in your job search
