Location: Grays with some travel in London/South East
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: £36-£40k per annum (dependent on experience)

Are you an A&E or emergency care nurse looking for a new direction, one that still uses your clinical skills but offers more routine and long-term impact?

This is a fantastic opportunity to transition into Occupational Health while remaining hands-on in a clinical setting. You’ll play a key role in supporting employee health and wellbeing, combining treatment, emergency response and preventative care in a varied and rewarding role.

Occupational Health Nurse Key Responsibilities:

Emergency & Acute Care

Provide onsite emergency response and first-line treatment
Assess and manage a range of injuries and acute presentations
Participate in emergency response training and preparedness Clinical & Treatment Services

Run nurse-led clinics, assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses
Deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced but controlled environment Health Screening & Surveillance

Carry out pre-employment and safety-critical medicals
Deliver health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and HAVS assessments
Support drug & alcohol testing and fitness for work assessments Wellbeing & Prevention

Deliver health promotion initiatives and wellbeing campaigns
Provide lifestyle advice and support long-term health improvements
Deliver engaging health talks and education sessions About You

Essential:

Registered General Nurse (RGN), current NMC pin
Background in A&E, emergency care or acute settings (essential)
Confident working independently and making clinical decisions
Strong communication and organisational skills
Happy to travel to sites in London and the South EastDesirable:

Occupational Health experience (not essential training can be supported) The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a nurse looking to step away from the pressures of hospital-based shift work, while still maintaining a strong clinical focus.
