Graduate Structural Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil or Structural Engineering graduate to begin their career with a consultancy that delivers a wide variety of projects across the UK, ranging from residential developments to complex commercial, industrial and infrastructure schemes.
Working alongside experienced Chartered Engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the design process while receiving structured mentoring and support towards professional development.
Responsibilities will include:
·Assisting with the design and analysis of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
·Producing structural calculations and technical reports.
·Preparing drawings and coordinating designs using industry-standard software.
·Attending site visits and inspections to support project delivery.
·Working closely with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
·Supporting senior engineers on projects across residential, commercial, education, industrial and public sector developments.
·Developing your technical knowledge with the aim of progressing towards Chartership.
To be considered, you should have:
·A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
·A genuine passion for structural engineering and design.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Good communication and teamwork abilities.
·An eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
·Knowledge of structural design software is beneficial but not essential.
