Data & MI Analyst
London | Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced Data & MI Analyst looking for a role where your insights genuinely influence business decisions?
We're working with a growing financial services business in London that's looking to strengthen its data function with the addition of an experienced Data & MI Analyst.
This is an opportunity to join a business where data is central to decision-making. You'll be responsible for analysing business performance, producing meaningful management information, building dashboards, and identifying trends that help drive commercial decisions across the organisation.
The Role
* Analyse business data and management information (MI)
* Produce accurate, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders
* Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting suites
* Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
* Develop and improve reporting processes and automation
* Work with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements
* Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple data sources
* Present findings and recommendations in a clear, meaningful way
About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience in a Data Analyst, MI Analyst or Business Intelligence role, ideally within financial services, although experience from another regulated industry would also be considered.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Data Analyst or MI Analyst
* Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
* Experience writing SQL queries
* Strong Power BI experience (Tableau or similar BI tools also considered)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience presenting data and insights to a range of stakeholders
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for improving reporting
* Python experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
