Yard and Fleet Coordinator

Location: Rochester, UK

Salary: circa. £32,000 - £37,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm

My client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Yard and Fleet Coordinator to join their growing team in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a practical approach to take ownership of the company's yard, fleet and equipment, playing a key role in supporting day-to-day operations.

Take ownership of the daily operation, security and housekeeping of the yard, warehouse and workshop, maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
Receive, inspect, unload and accurately record deliveries, while managing stock levels of tools, materials and PPE.
Prepare, issue and receive tools, equipment and materials to support upcoming projects and site operations.
Clean, inspect, maintain and carry out minor repairs to company tools and equipment, coordinating the hire and servicing of specialist equipment where required.
Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring equipment is transported securely.
Coordinate the maintenance, servicing, MOTs and repairs of the company fleet, ensuring vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy and ready for operational use. Key Skills:

Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
Practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Able to prioritise workloads, work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Competent IT user with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Strong commitment to health, safety and high housekeeping standards.
