Bench Joiner
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £18.00 - £22.50 per hour (DOE)
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer specialising in traditional timber windows, doors and heritage joinery. Based in a fully equipped workshop, this role is ideal for an experienced Bench Joiner who takes pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship. Around 80% of the work focuses on traditional joinery, including timber windows and doors, with the remaining 20% covering bespoke kitchens, cabinetry and fitted furniture.
The Role
* Manufacture traditional timber windows, doors and heritage joinery from technical drawings.
* Produce high-quality joinery using both hardwoods and softwoods.
* Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout production.
* Work closely with the workshop team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment.
* Strong experience manufacturing traditional timber windows and doors.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
* Competent using standard woodworking machinery and hand tools.
* A positive attitude with pride in producing high-quality bespoke joinery.
