Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
The Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (FCUs, thermal wheels), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)
* Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports and remedial logs are completed accurately and on time
* Respond to client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
* Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work and safe systems of work, including tasks at height
* Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment
To be successful for this Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
* Experience working in maintenance or facilities management environments
* Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
* Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
* Comfortable using IT systems and mobile devices for reporting and workflows
