Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Domestic Assistants to work in a hospital based in Norwich.
Main duties of a Domestic Assistant:
To perform deep cleaning, terminal cleans and routine tasks as required, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising toilets/bathrooms and patient areas. Removing and disposing of different type of waste from hospital waste including general, contaminated and waste from bins.
The Domestic assistant will work directly under the supervision of a Dispatcher who oversees cleaning teams, allocates tasks , ensures standards are met, and responds to emergencies within an allocated time slot. This is a fast-moving job that requires good time management under pressure. Undertake other duties to meet the operational requirements of the organisation in line with the Cleaning Service Plan. Undertake other duties to meet the operational requirements in line with the Cleaning Service Plan. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Hospital staff.
May involve direct or indirect patient contact depending on the role and to clean Blood and/or bodily fluid in public areas. You will be required to use chemical to clean.
The hourly rate is £16.70
For this role the below shifts are available-
Monday- Friday 3:30pm- 10pm OR Saturday and Sunday 2pm- 10pm.
This is a long term, ongoing position.
