About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Street Lighting Operative to work on our Street Lighting project in Kingston and Sutton. You will be responsible for providing support for electrical installations, repairs, planned maintenance and new installations.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with the installation of signs / columns, bollards and associated equipment
24 hour Emergency Response / Out of Hours Standby
Assisting with the installation of any new build works
Carry out works as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a safe manner, within the scope if relevant duties
Electrical inspection and testing including periodic testing
Fault diagnosis and repair
Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard, with vehicle defect sheet completed correctlyAbout you
Ideally 3 years Street Lighting Installations experience
Must demonstrate good awareness of site and company rules
Safe Isolation / G39
SWQR Qualification
MEWP Operator
ECS H&S Test
First Aid (Appointed Person)
Manual Handling
Preferable registration to Highways Electrical Level 3 NVQ
