We are currently looking for an experienced Externals Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major project in Great Yarmouth.

This is an initial 3-month contract overseeing a package of external works, with a strong possibility of further work upon completion.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing the external phase of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

The package will primarily consist of:

* Groundworks and external infrastructure

* Hard and soft landscaping

* External finishes

* Coordination of subcontractors

* A small element of demolition works

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining site standards, managing health & safety, monitoring programme and ensuring quality throughout the delivery of the externals package.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering external works packages

* Strong background in groundworks and infrastructure

* Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors

* Excellent knowledge of health & safety and quality procedures

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates

* Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor is advantageous
