About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for experienced Managing Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of major National Grid infrastructure projects.
Working for a leading infrastructure contractor, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of significant power transmission schemes, ensuring strong commercial governance, effective risk management and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management of major infrastructure projects
NEC3/NEC4 contract administration
Cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR)
Compensation Events, Variations and Claims
Subcontract procurement and management
Final Accounts
Commercial risk management
Stakeholder and client relationship management
Supporting operational teams with commercial decisions
Requirements
Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience as a Senior QS or Managing QS
Strong NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract knowledge
Experience managing subcontractors and commercial packages
CVR, forecasting and reporting experience
Proven background in utilities, energy, power transmission, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
National Grid project experience
Electricity Transmission or Substation projects
Utilities or Power sector background
