We are now looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a large manufacturing site to the North of Bristol.
As Technical Facilities Manager, you will be looking after Cleanrooms, Engineering Labs, Manufacturing, Shop Floor, along with critical infrastructure.
You will also manage the outsourced service partners at the same time as developing an internal Facilities Team.
With oversight for all areas of the site, you will ensure the site runs at peak performance, emphasising safety, operational excellence, and cost management, and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Looking after manufacturing, production, engineering, cleanrooms and general office areas, you will provide technical leadership to all areas.
In addition to site based operations you will oversee partners, contractors and suppliers, establishing and managing SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews.
Further, you will assume responsibility for asset management, lifecycle planning and budgets, supporting capital investment and infrastructure upgrades.
Working with the SHE Manager, you will ensure adherence to UK legislation, including EaWR, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR, COSHH, DSEAR, HSG274/ACoP L8, and Fire Safety legislation.
Experience:
We are looking a Facilities Manager who can demonstrate experience in facilities management within a technical environment such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing.
You should have a strong understanding of critical building systems.
In addition you should have experience managing cleanroom or similar controlled environments; and managing contractors and service providers.
A strong knowledge of UK health and safety and compliance requirements is also essential.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will hold Membership of a relevant professional body i.e. IWFM, CIBSE and a Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK without ever requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
