Pertemps Daventry is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their growing maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to secure a long-term position within a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in keeping production running by maintaining plant machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing
Responding quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs on plant and production equipment.
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to agreed schedules.
Identifying root causes of recurring faults and recommending continuous improvement solutions.
Performing routine inspections and safety checks across site equipment.
Supporting the installation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
Supervising contractors and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Working closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability.
Supporting and mentoring colleagues where required.What We're Looking For
A recognised engineering qualification such as an Apprenticeship, BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3.
Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience with crane systems would be advantageous but is not essential.What's On Offer
Temporary to permanent opportunity. - Salary - £32,000 - £40,000 PA Denpending on Experience
Monday to Friday day shifts – enjoy your evenings and weekends.
