Electrical Testing Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & surrounding Home Counties areas
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hybrid role - FT position - 1 day WFH to complete test sheets & verify
The Role:
take a lead part in testing & remedials within our commercial maintenance contracts & domestic settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, experienced tester who has developed a range of skills including problem solving, adaptability and is self-motivated with the ability of self-management and the choice to take the extra responsibility of being a QS.
This role will suit someone who is more than just a good electrician - Looking for someone who has been around the block, experienced, highly knowledgeable and maybe considering part time / full time testing - the role can be moulded to the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
Taking responsibility for the testing, certification & remedials.
Dealing with clients directly with support from our admin team.
Teaching your skills to an apprentice
Keeping up to date with current regulations and staying ahead of changes
Hybrid role - FT position - 1 day WFH to complete test sheets & verify
Working with NICEIC softwareWhat the client is looking for:
A qualified Approved Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition (BS7671).
Proven experience in testing is essential
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving license.
2391 / 2392 Inspection & Testing or equivalentIn return:
