A leading dealership in Wimbledon, London is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled technician looking to advance their career within a reputable main dealership environment. Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repair work on a range of vehicles
Perform complex repairs, including electrical and electronic systems
Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to manufacturer guidelines
Mentor and support junior technicians within the workshop
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
Assist in vehicle preparation for MOT testing (if qualified)
Liaise with parts department to ensure availability of required components
Maintain a clean and organised work environmentRequirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 2, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
Proven experience within main dealerships or high-performing independent garages
Strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor colleagues
Full UK driving licence
MOT Testing qualification is desirable but not essential
